Rapper Blueface, aka Johnathan Porter, was arrested this week in Las Vegas. Not a newcomer to being considered a bad boy, the dad of Javaughn ran into trouble and this time, he’s been arrested for attempted murder. Best known for his first EP, “Famous Cryp,” he now talks with the cops about a potentially serious crime. So what is this all about? Read on to find out.
Blueface Is Not The First Rapper In Trouble With The Law
Music lovers who like rappers go for the beat, the message, and the whole bad-boy vibe. However, in real life, there are sometimes situations where people can lose their lives. Recall, when Nipsey Hussle was killed, Eric Ronald Holder Jr. faced an accusation of murder. Court records revealed that Nipsey died after a hail of 11 bullets were fired. Of course, fans still mourn the untimely passing of the rapper to this day.
Blueface isn’t dead, but other rappers have lost their lives. In July this year, Rollie Bands died by gunfire outside of his home in Tampa, Florida. Shortly before that, he’d gone onto his Instagram and taunted folks by saying, “I’m at my crib.” Unfortunately, he had planned to just sleep in peace when the murder went down. Tragic losses like that to the music industry seem very sad, as these guys are considered to be extremely talented. Now, more talent could disappear, at least for a while
Blueface Arrested After A Shooting Incident In October
According to Rolling Stone, “At the time of the arrest, [the rapper] was with his girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, at Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles.” The outlet also noted, “He will be booked into the Clark County Detention Center on warrants for attempted murder with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm at/into an occupied structure.” If found guilty, he could end up doing time in prison.
Ironically, in October, Blueface posted up on Instagram saying, “God forbid I get locked up for something that god forbid” Better days 2 (pain in the ghetto) out now.” Previous incidents involved fighting with fellow artist Rock. At the time, it was Rock in trouble with the law. However, things escalated and allegedly Rock’s dad was “punched.” Further reports arrived that allegedly, of the rapper was involved in a violent incident with a bouncer.
The Developing Story
Blueface was also stopped “for Felony Gun Possession” after a traffic stop in Hollywood. At the moment, it’s not clear what incident led to his arrest this week.
