The Bold And The Beautiful actress Denise Richards still feels upset after her terrifying road rage incident this week. An unidentified man fired a gun at the star and her husband Aaron Phypers. And after the brush with death occurred, eyewitnesses noticed Denise getting emotional on a cell phone call outside a Malibu office building, reported Page Six.
The Real Housewives alum, 51, started to cry during her phone conversation. And her husband, 50, walked outside to try to comfort her. However, Richards managed to continue through her tears to share her story.
After her phone call, Denise got assisted by her husband into his car. The two then drove to a restaurant nearby. But when paparazzi found them, Richards tried to behave bravely. And she insisted that both she and Phypers feel “all good.”
Denise Richards Keeps Low Profile After Shooting
After Denise told the photographer that the two feel better, Phypers offered more details. And he explained that he thinks such an incident could “happen anywhere at any time.” But Aaron also shared that he feels the “random” incident didn’t reflect a targeted shooting.
Richards has tried to keep a low profile since the road rage incident. For instance, she chose black leggings, a black shirt, a dark green cap, and black boots for her lunch with her husband. Aaron also has sought to avoid paparazzi since the scary shooting.
The road rage incident occurred when a man driving near their truck seemed to feel frustrated. However, his reaction was to shoot at the truck. And a bullet hit the back of the vehicle. A single bullet penetrated the back of Phypers’ truck. But after the shooting, Richards managed to go to a movie studio to work. And although she reportedly felt shaken and experienced some bouts of crying, she worked for 12 hours on filming Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace.
When an Internet troll made fun of Denise over the road rage incident, she responded. “What I experienced yesterday with my husband, not that you care. Was the most terrifying situation I have ever been in,” the Real Housewives alum told the Twitter troll. And she added, “I’m sorry a shot didn’t graze my neck…a–hole.”
