Royal Family News: Prince Andrew’s Friend Ghislaine Maxwell Sent To Same Cushy Prison as Real Housewives Star Teresa Guidice

British royal family news shows that Prince Andrew’s friend, convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, has learned her fate: a 20 year sentence at ‘Club Fed’ in Connecticut.

The federal prison once was home to Real Housewives star Teresa Giudice and the facility inspired the series ‘Orange Is The New Black.’

Ghislaine Maxwell Sentenced

Last week the so-called “pimp” for Andrew’s other friend Jeffrey Epstein was sent off by Judge Alison Nathan to the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, a low-security facility about 55 miles from New York City.

According to the Daily Mail, the 60-year old was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Tuesday for helping dead convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, “sexually abuse teenage girls, in what a judge called a ‘horrific scheme’ that inflicted ‘incalculable’ harm on victims.”

One of those victims was Virginia Giuffre. She accused Andrew of sexually abusing her when she was a minor and a victim of Maxwell and Epstein. In February, at the same time he denied the allegation, he paid her off to the tune of millions of dollars in an out of court settlement.

The upper crust British socialite was convicted in December of trafficking a minor, among other heinous charges.
Maxwell is not eligible for early parole but could be released early for good behavior, whatever that constitutes behind bars.

The facility is considered a “cushy” landing spot with prison experts saying, “that a stay at Danbury will make her feel like she is in ‘Disneyland.’ The facility has a number of feel-good programs for inmates, including a hobby craft and music, circuit training, and aerobics.

The judge and her alleged victims slammed Maxwell for taking no responsibility for her crimes. She said at her sentencing: “I realize I have been convicted of assisting Jeffrey Epstein to commit these crimes. My association with Epstein will permanently stain me. It is the biggest regret of my life that I ever met him.”

Maxwell’s attorney claimed that his client, “has been vilified, pilloried and left little room for her to be treated fairly. Because even before she stepped forward into this courthouse, she was being tried and convicted in the court of public opinion. Ghislaine will appeal this case and we’re confident she will prevail on appeal.”
